Magaluf (Spain) - Read holiday reviews for Magaluf
Magaluf (Magalluf) and Palma Nova (Palmanova) are situated on the island's south west coast at the western end of Palma Bay. Transfer time from the airport is about 20 to 30 minutes. Although technically the dividing point between Magaluf and Palma Nova is still somewhere on the rocky headland between the two beaches, the two resorts have over the years, grown to the point where they now effectively merge into one, although of the two resorts Palma Nova is slightly quieter and is perhaps more suited to families. Magaluf resort overall is amazing, fantastic, brilliant, clean, friendly, addictive, awesome - getting the picture lol - the beaches are the best ive ever seen, they are very particular and keep the resort spotlessly clean even after the idiots have spilt drinks, vomited on pavements etc the next day it is cleaned up. Tom Browns the best place to eat,
Happy House on the beach is good, Lush Bar is friendliest bar, good prices, music, so much to do for everyone, banana boat, floating boats, paragliding, bungee, etc - Pirates is an amazing night out for all the family, Son Amar is out of this world and defo worth a trip - you wont be disappointed, the water parks are fantastic - a whole day out - brill rides etc. so much to do. Palma Market on a saturday - Caves of Drach, Inca Market etc etc you need to spend 6 weeks here to do it all - i wish. Magaluf playa apartments were GREAT!!! The flats big and confortable. The commune areas were always clean and in perfect working order. The accommodation is simple but very spacious and airy, the balconies in the flat offered great views. The staff at reception were extremely helpful and the location was more than ideal. I recommended 100%. We are going back this year. There is a good cafe/restaurant at the entrance of the flats... great fo having late breakfast after a long night out . "could not have ask for more". Date of stay March 2009. SadieJames. Scotland UK.

Ive visited Magaluf three times and loved it every time! Its completely cheesy and commercialised but I love it! The beach is very well looked after and offers sunbeds and watersports throughout the day. There are many restaurants and takeaways to choose from including the normal McDonalds, KFC, Pizza Hut etc. Its all located very closely together. There are a massive choice of bars and clubs and would defo recommend a visit to BCM. BCM is the largest club in maga and is worth the money. It costs around 22 euros to get in, this includes freebies (t-shirts, bags, hats, glow sticks) which depends on the day and the best bit is the free bar! You can only have 1 drink at a time but we never had to wait around to get a drink as they have lots of bars located around. They also gave us free champagne tickets on some nights which gave us cheap sparkling wine (great to get you drunk) which also added to the experience! They also do a lot of themed nights such as water partys, foam partys, popcorn partys etc which are amazing especially the water and foam! There are also many shops and attractions located around Magaluf. There are loads of locals offering excursions, the water parks are very good and would also recommend you to visit the Pirates Uncut Show (Pirate acrobat type show), its a great night! You get much food and alcohol jugs whilst
there and it is such a good atmosphere as they get everyone joining in. Mrs JadeyLips , Travel date: summer 2009
magaluf is a perfect holiday

A lot better than expected. Being at the begging of the season, I wasn't expecting much in the Magaluf region of entertainment, but we were fully supported in that region. The BCM being the biggest club on the Majorca island was amazing. Pay 25 euros for entry of which you get free gifts and unlimited drinks all night. We found ourselves in their on about 4 night of the week we were their. Moving down the the strip which is full of lively bars offering reasonable priced drinks, we found the our favourite place was i think called bananas? We got a wristband for about 6 euros from what i remember and were in titled to entry to an number of other bars. To our surprise, we were able to get entry to the foam party next door with our wristbands which the hotel reps were tempting us into go with them for 15 euros! so keep that in mind. Defenetly, Magaluf resort is the party capital of Majorca. Mr Andy, Travel date: May 2009

We went to Magaluf self catering in Hotel Tropico which is great when you have four kids. With the euro as it is, eating out can be very expensive. We got chatting to a family that had been the a week before us and they advised us where not to eat ('Tom Brown's' - very expensive, food not English and also very small dinners) but also where to
go. They were right. 'The Cottage' has to be the best place to eat in Magaluf resort. Its clean, you can get a breakfast for under three euros and the dinners are very hot and massive. We always ate before 8 p.m. as they have a
deal where you get two meals for under 14 euros. The choice is huge as well. They do get very busy but believe me, that's the reason why. Best food in Magaluf, Majorca (Mallorca). Visitor from Halifax , Travel date: Octomber 2008
