In peak holiday season in July, August and early September passengers will be able to travel every day except for Saturdays. Not only to Majorca, British Airways also offers flights to Tenerife, Ibiza, Fuerteventura, Menorca, Lanzarote, Gran Canaria and many other Spanish holiday destinations. This year, BA will be using the larger 98 seater Embraer airplanes for the London City to Majorca route. |
British Airways has regular flights to Majorca. Spain. Flights land at Son Sant Joan Airport, five miles east of Palma. After your flight to Palma, hop on the bus into the city centre and before long you'll be exploring Palma Old Town's medieval streets. Shake off the cobwebs after your Palma flight with a few tapas snacks along the buzzing Passeig Marítim seafront. After landed, the easiest way into Palma's city centre is to take the bus to Plaça Espanya, which takes about 20 minutes. Buses leave every 15 minutes from outside Palma airport's Flight Arrivals.
Brits will have more chances to soak up the Spanish sun this summer as British Airways has announced that it will be offering more flights from London City Airport to Palma de Majorca due to popular demand. To cope with the summer rush, flights will leave from London for Palma de Majorca six days a week, instead of the three days per week they currently run, so passengers will be able to jet off any day except Saturday throughout July and August. |
